Use the custodian tied to the record:
- Court case files: use the court case lookup instructions or contact the District or Magistrate Court clerk at the Neil Mertz Judicial Complex, 903 N. Fifth St., Estancia
- Criminal records and RAP sheets: contact the New Mexico Department of Public Safety Law Enforcement Records Bureau
- Sheriff reports: call the Torrance County Sheriff's Office at 505-544-4900 or write P.O. Box 498, Estancia, NM 87016
- County IPRA requests: email IPRA@tcnm.us or call the County Attorney's Office records custodian at 505-544-4707, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement filings: ask the proper District Court clerk about current New Mexico Judiciary forms and filing requirements
